Bio

After studying Economics at the Mc Gill University in Montreal, Xavier Laurent entered the renowned Cours Florent in Paris before continuing his training with American technics( Meisner, Strasberg, Adler) and British Technics ( London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art.) Xavier Laurent started his career in the French TV series "School of life" which had a great success in France and abroad. He has participated in few big budget American movies: Ron Howard's "Rush" starring Chris Hemsworth, Daniel Brühl and Olivia Wilde, RED2 starring Bruce Willis, Catherine Zeta Jones, John Malkovich, Monuments men directed by George Clooney and starring Matt Damon, Cate Blanchet, Inferno directed by Ron Howard starring Tom Hanks, Omar sy, Felicty Jones. Xavier appeared as a cameo in the feature film Bone in the throat alongside Ed Westwick and Vanessa Kirby. Xavier continued his ascension in the British industry in BBC tv series Wolf Hall directed by Peter Kosminsky and starring Mark Rylance, Claire Foy, Damian Lewis and in the oscar winner director Stephen Warbeck's movie "The man in the hat" alongside Ciaran Hinds and Stephen Dillane. Xavier also has worked in France in lead roles such as in the independent feature film "Cuba si, cuba no", directed by Caroline Chomienne and in the horror movie " Goal of the dead" directed by Thierry Poiraud and Benjamin Rocher starring Alban lenoir. Xavier has written and produced several shorts, tv series and films: Sumoto life starring Claire Nebout, Under the caravan, directed by Yohan Ungar, Calvin directed by Camille Tello, the gender war directed by Julien Seri and the feature film The kid is not my son in 2020. Xavier was a proud member of the jury in many festivals( fantasy film festival Gerardmer, international film festival in Brussels alongside the American writer Douglas Kennedy, president of the jury.)

Xavier lives in Aix en Provence, south of France where he resides with his wife and daughter.
